The new holiday single from Irish singer/composer Heidi Talbot, When Will You Return/Oh Little Town, is a reimagining of the traditional Christmas carol, Oh Little Town of Bethlehem, with the feeling of dreaminess, nostalgia and returning home so symbiotic with the holidays and the turn of the year. Having recently completed her post graduate degree with the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, Heidi has written and arranged the brass orchestration for her vision of this beautiful song. Accompanied by The European Recording Orchestra Brass section, allow this track to transport you to a moment of peaceful, contemplative joy. Heidi is an accomplished recording and touring artist and performs the vocal and guitar for this latest single, highlighting her talents and now having adding film scoring to her long list of achievements, it is with justification that she won Composer of the Year at this years MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. In the last 6 years she has recorded four solo albums/Ep’s adding to her already extensive discography, all Self released including her latest album, the critically acclaimed Sing It For A Lifetime, distributed by Universal Records.
